Jonesboro Elementary Students Attend Real Men Read Summit at Miles College

Thirty-seven fourth- and fifth-grade boys from Jonesboro Elementary School attended the Real Men Read Summit at Miles College. The students experienced the importance of reading, leadership and positive role models, school officials said. The event aimed to engage students with literacy. The school thanked Mr. Evans for organizing the trip, Representative Ontario Tillman for his financial support, and Mr. Marshall and Small-Dunn for chaperoning. The students also enjoyed a complimentary meal at Jim 'N Nick's restaurant.
