Robotics Team Wins Big at Regional Competition

The Hardwired Robotics team from Charles F. Hard Elementary School won first place in multiple categories at the Alabama Consortium of Technology in Education Regional Competition at the University of Montevallo. A’Mera A. won first place in animation and multimedia, while Elijah H. took first place in robotics B and website design. Kaleb C. won first place in 3D printing, and Kendall J. won first place in robotics A. G’Riah C. and Kendall J. won first place in hardware modification. All of the winning students have advanced to the state competition, school officials said.
